Stefan, or PoorQuentyn I guess, just how much wild fire do you believe is left over from Aerys stash? Didn't Tyrion use a considerable amount of it at the Blackwater? As well as Cersei to burn the Tower of the Hand?
Are you sure there is enough for the King's Landing tragedy you're predicting?

    1. The pyromancers found exactly one cache. Everything else was newly produced. And Aerys had provided enough for the city to explode, while we learn in ACOK that the substance becomes more potent over time...

color me skeptical. Jaime found two major caches, under Baelor's, an the Dragonpit, while Tyrion use 13000 old and new jars. Presumably Cersei used all new jars?
I just don't see a world in which Jaime didn't find the majority of it, or Varys isn't aware of it an in position to warn Aegon about it.

I know I should ask this stuff of poor quentyn, but I just haven't signed up for tumblr. Sorry to make you the middle man. I do enjoy his tumblr though and wouldn't have known about it if not for this site.
